Initial Buyout window starts June 27 and ends June 30. Qualifying offers due to RFA’s by June 30 to retain their rights. To sign a pending UFA to an 8 year deal, must be signed by June 30. UFA’s can sign with new teams July 1.
I fully intend to be here Friday/Sat/Monday regardless of what little happens on Monday.

Dolan's Newsday Lies About Attendance

Today they wrote a false article on improved attendance since Roy arrived.
On March 18th they took a NYI win against Dolan's team and put an article about poor attendance on their front page, Roy was here two months at the time.
Belmont was such a failure they had $30 playoff tickets. Clearly some friction between the Dolan's, who's cronies run everything at the failed Belmont experiment (like Smg) earlier now followed up by lies. NYI are a tenant with an immediate out clause, nothing more.

Rookie camp again will start later on or about 9/11 with the main camp opening on or about 9/18 which means the old 9/5 date before Covid has still not been rolled back. It would also appear the NYI practice of July rookie camps where many players pay their own way to come here is again not happening despite many NHL teams having them in the post-Covid era or the team is hiding it again from the public with all those $30 playoff tickets.

Not much besides updating the prospect site. Some players were not signed by European Deadlines. Isaiah George added to Under 25 section. New York selections 20th, 54th and 61st from trades with other teams. (no third round pick/no seventh round pick) I fully intend to be writing during the NHL draft as always.
It's a quiet time/not happy with the failure/many players on the ice or at the failed Belmont experiment, and not a fan of this coach. (or the coaching staff)
I do expect a change or two, and despite the age/speed issues with Martin/Clutterbuck do expect they will not be signed elsewhere, they had a good run here (Martin x2) but expect like Bailey there will be no offers. How much can be done with Ping pong Pageau, Palmieri (don't be fooled by 15 goals in 23 games many from crease) Cizikas who can't produce on 4th line much less putting him on the top line, and Engvall who's signed for six more years who's a ghost most games. Lee's legs look like they are big from muscle/injuries he can't move fast very often any more. Very disappointing.
Expectations:
Aho-Want him to stay/skating-think he's going to be a great signing for a skating team. Bortuzzo-check engine light comes on, big mistakes-NO. Reilly-One year yes, more-NO. Salo-Gone already.
